Conformité Européne (CE)
European Union
The (Conformité Européne) symbol found on the R12-
Series Companion Keyboard indicates compliance to the
EMC Directive and the Low Voltage Directive of the
European Union. This means that the Companion
Keyboard meets the following technical standards:
EN 55022 (CISPR22) – Limits and Methods of
Measurement of Radio Interference Characteristics of
Information Technology Equipment
EN 55024 (CISPR24) (IEC 61000 4-2, 4-3, 4-3, 4-5, 4-6, 4-8,
4-11) – Information Technology Equipment-Immunity
Characteristics – Limits and Methods of Measurement
This product is in compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU of
the European Parliament and of the Council set into force
in June 2011. This Directive set into force procedures
regarding the restriction of the use of certain substances in
electric and electrical equipment (ROHS).
This product is in compliance with Directive 2012/19/EU of
the European Parliament and of the Council set into force
in July 2012. This Directive set into force procedures
regarding the Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). Motion Computing Incorporated is a participant in
the “Take Back” program established in the WEEE Directive
and assumes full responsibility for the disposal take back of
its products.

The CE mark shown here is a device ID
that means the product complies with the
essential requirements of the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC
with essential test suites.
Embedded in your Companion Keyboard are various Radio
Frequency (RF) wireless communication devices. It may
contain one or more radio-type devices that operate in the

This Limited Warranty applies to the Motion-branded
hardware products sold by or leased from Motion
Computing, Inc., its worldwide subsidiaries, affiliates,
authorized resellers, or country distributors (collectively
referred to in this Limited Warranty as “Motion”) with this
Limited Warranty (“Motion Product”).
These terms and conditions constitute the complete and
exclusive warranty agreement between you and Motion
regarding the Motion Product you have purchased or
leased. These terms and conditions supersede any prior
agreements or representations, including representations
made in Motion sales literature or advice given to you by
Motion or an agent or employee of Motion that may have
been made in connection with your purchase or lease of
the Motion Product. No change to the conditions of this
Limited Warranty is valid unless it is made in writing and
signed by an authorized representative of Motion.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY AND TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY
LAW, MOTION MAKES NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS,

INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED REPRESENTATIONS,

Warranty period
The warranty period for this Motion Product is one (1) year
from the date of purchase or longer if you have an
extended warranty. The Limited Warranty Period starts on
